Hello and welcome to not only my blog but the Grand Vacation Achievers Blog Hop for July 2015. The blog hop is a chance for some of the GV achievers to showcase their work. I’m excited to be doing this for another round, and have something to show you again this month. And even more excited to work with this talented group of designers!
This month the theme is “Colour Me New” and that means we are showcasing some of Stampin’Up’s gorgeous new In Color range. The new colour range are these lovely shades:
This month we were required to use at least two of these colours in our project.. and we could combine them with other colours if we wished. For my card I’ve used 2 new colours… “Mint Macaron” and “Cucumber Crush”, and teamed them up with Night of Navy. I used the new “Color Me Irresistible” Designer Series Paper, and sponged over it with a combination of the Mint and the Navy, then used the Cucumber on the edges of the butterfly. The lace is also in the Mint. I adore the new “Watercolor Wings” stamps and framelits.. I LOVE that I can cut those butterflies out so quickly rather than doing it by hand. It saves so much time!
